Telework & On-Campus Tools
- Virtual Private Network (VPN)
- Employee-only access
- Allows for remote employees (staff and faculty) to connect to ON-campus resources like the student database system
- Virtual Desktop (VDI)
- A remote desktop environment that simulate a college-computer desktop and has desktop links to specialized applications
- A request must be made to have access to VDI
- Phone Service, including Softphone (Desktop/IP Communicator)
- IP Communicator is a 'soft phone'/phone software that mimics your desk/office phone
- Software is available on standard 'employee' laptops
- Updates, additions, and voicemail PIN resets can be requested through this service

- Long Distance - Dial 9, then 1 + area code + phone number for long distance numbers. **Note: There is a project planned to replace "9" with "8" to access outside dial.

Student Technology Support (share with students)
- Loaner Device Information
- Request starts at EAB Navigate through the Hand-raise function
- Then students complete the loaner request
- Student attend training to receive loaner device OR receive access to VDI
- Students may renew up to TWO times in an academic year, as long as they demonstrate they are currently enrolled in Fall -> Spring -> Summer
- Devices MUST be returned at the last enrolled semester of the current academic year
- What can students borrow or access? Windows 11 laptops, hotspots, or VDI
- Loaners will be distributed at least ONE week before the start of the semester
