Adobe Creative Cloud Installation on Personal or Loaner Computers

Question: 

  • How do I sign in and install Adobe Creative Cloud applications on my personal device (if I am an employee or student taking a Visual Arts/DGIM course)? 

Steps: 

  • First, make sure you have been provided a license/access to use Adobe Creative Cloud.
    • Full-time employees and students who are currently enrolled in DGIM courses are provided a license.
    • Students, at the end of their enrolled semesters, are deprovisioned access to Adobe.
  1. Close all Microsoft applications before installing Adobe applications.
  2. Open a web browser (Chrome, Safari, or Edge)
  3. Type https://www.adobe.com and press enter
  4. Select "Sign In" in the upper right corner of the browser window
  5. Type your college email (see examples below). If you do not know what your college email address is, go to https://starid.minnstate.edu, click on "Sign in to Profile" and view your Student or Employee Office 365 email.
    1. For employees - firstname.lastname@saintpaul.edu
    2. For students - firstname.lastname@my.saintpaul.edu
  6. Press Continue
  7. Type your Password
  8. Press Continue
    1. If you do not remember your password, or this is your first time signing in, click on "Reset your Password" and follow the prompts.
    2. Enter the code sent to the email address on record (most likely your college email address)
    3. Reset your password using the password requirements listed
