Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Reset

Service Description

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) increases the security of a user's O365 account by forcing the user to authenticate their sign-in by entering a code or approving their sign-in via phone call or mobile app.
  • If you lose your authentication device, your MFA can be reset.
  • At least two forms of identity verification will be needed for the reset.
  • The reset is usually processed within 30 minutes.
  • Once reset, you will be prompted to set up MFA again upon signing into your O365 account
