Forwarded from the System Office:
Good morning,
This announcement is intended for all ISRS application users.
This is a reminder that ALL campus users must be cutover to the new Uniface 10.4 client by this Friday, October 31st.
By now, you should have heard from your local IT department regarding how to access the new Uniface 10.4 client. If not, please work with your local institution IT support desk to make sure you, as an ISRS application user, will be prepared to switch to the new shortcut when asked, as this is the last week the current Uniface 10.3 client will work. We ask that if you have access to Uniface 10.4, you begin using it immediately.
The current Uniface 10.3 client application will be decommissioned on November 1, 2025.
We will be monitoring Uniface 10.4 cutover at every institution, and we will reach out to those institutions that appear to need assistance.
UNIFACE FONT SIZING
It has come to our attention that in the past, institutions may have worked with System Office IT to customize the font sizing used on the Uniface screens.
The System Office does NOT advise customization to any of the assignment or .ini files to increase Uniface font sizing, but if you choose to do so, you can at your own risk. Please note, if you choose to adjust Uniface font sizing it WILL have an impact on Image Now/Perspective Content functionality.
The System Office recommends increasing your operating system’s zoom setting instead of the Uniface client application font size.
If you encounter any issues with the new Uniface 10.4 application once you have been instructed to use it, please work with your local IT dept or submit a service request.
