  • Follow the steps below to navigate and access essential course tools in the new D2L Brightspace navbar:

  1. Log in to D2L Brightspace
    Go to your SPC D2L login page  and log in using your student or employee Minnstate credentials.
  2. Enter Your Course
    From the My Courses widget or Course Selector (the waffle icon at the top), click the course you want to access.
  3. Locate the New Navigation Bar
    At the top of the course page, you’ll see a horizontal menu bar. This is the new D2L navbar, which contains streamlined links to your main course tools.

  1. Access Key Tools from the Navbar:
    • Content: Click Content to view course materials, lectures, modules, and readings.
    • Assignments: Click Assignments to view upcoming assignment submissions, due dates, and instructions.
