Make sure this is being done a device that is running MacOS (This mean a iMac or a Macbook)
1. Open up a web browser (example: Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox)
2. Search for "eduroam cat" in the URL
3. Select the first option
4. Click on "Click here to download your eduroam® installer"
5. Click on "Minnesota State Colleges and Universities"
6. Click on "Download your eduroam® installer Apple device"
7. Click on "Allow" when prompted
8. In the top right, click on the magnifying glass
9. Search for "System Preferences"
10. In the bottom right of System Preferences, click on "profiles"
11. Click on "install"
12. Click on "install" again
13. Type in the following
username: yourstarid@go.minnstate.edu
password: your starid password
14. At the next prompt, click "install" again
15. If it is a personal computer, you may have to ask the student to put in the computer login information. If it is a campus device, put in the admin account.
Once step 15 is done, retry connecting to eduroam.
