Reporting Spam/Phishing Emails (Web Version)

Question:

  • How do I report spam/phishing on Outlook web version?

Steps:

  • This instruction is if you are using a device that does not support the software version of Microsoft Outlook, or if you do not want to install any additional software. This is also assuming that you are already logged in to your email.

    1. Click on the email that you want to report as spam or phishing.

     

    2. In the email to the left of the screen, click on the 3 dots for more actions.

     

    3. Click on "Security options"

     

    4. Select "Junk" if its from someone you do not wish to receive anymore emails from. It will be moved to the "Junk Email" folder.

     

    5. Select "Phishing" if you believe it is an email that is trying to steal personal information

     

    6. You can block the sender by selecting the last option.
