Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Printing (Windows OS):
Make sure you’re connected to “Eduroam” wifi before proceeding. Students log in with their starid@go.minnstate.edu alias. Staff & Faculty log in with their starid@minnstate.edu alias. This document will only work for Windows devices only.
- Visit https://www.saintpaul.edu/ and click Menu in the top right hand corner.
2. In the Academics column click Student Services.
3. On the Student Services page scroll down to the IT Services section and click on the IT Services link.
4. Scroll down to the Printing section click the + sign to expand the section. Look for the BYOD link.
5. Click the Download link.
6. You can click the Open link to run the installer. Alternatively, if you’re using Chrome/Firefox check your Downloads folder for the Mobile Print Client installer.
7. Click OK to start the installation process.
8. Click “I accept the agreement”then click Next.
9. You will see a list of mobility printers you can print to. For example: Students can print to the learning commons printer -RM1260. Click on the RM_1260_Learning Commons_Printer. Staff/Faculty can also print to certain office printers as well. Click Next.
10. Type in your starid & password and click Next.
11. Click Finish. Try printing to the copier or office printer you’re trying to connect to. If you have issues, contact IT Services at (651) 846-1440. You can also email spc-it.servicedesk@saintpaul.edu or stop by room #1470.
