Setting the Correct Time Zone for Bookings Meetings

Problem: 

  • In Bookings meetings, the Time Zone defaults to Pacific Time Zone, regardless of the preferred time zone. 
    Meeting confirmation with redacted information and the time zone (pacific time zone) is highlighted in yellow.

Resolution:

  • From Google search - In some cases, your computer or your Office 365 may default to Pacific Time, regardless of your current location.

Steps to Change Time Zone in O365 (Web):

  • Log in: Go to Outlook on the web and log in - starting at https://saintpaul.edu --> Current Students --> Email (menu bar) OR Employee --> Microsoft365 (button)
  • Click on APPS on the left panel --> Outlook

Use the image to follow along with the steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon (Settings) in the top-right corner.
  2. Select General

  3. Select Language and time
  4. Verify Time zone is Central Time (US & Canada)
    If it is NOT, click the Change button
  5. Select your new zone from the dropdown menu.

    If SAVE is an option, click SAVE.

Verify that your Bookings meeting is occurring at the Correct Time & Time Zone.
