Why can't I access my course in D2L Brightspace?

 Question: 

  • Why can't I access my course in D2L Brightspace?

Answer, 

  • If a course is not visible when you login to Brightspace:

  • Login to eServices to confirm that you are registered for the course.
  • Check the start date for the course.
  • If you just registered for a course, it could take up to 15 minutes for the course to show up for you in D2L Brightspace.
  • Screen shots are encouraged. 
  • Write instructions in a way the customer can understand and complete the steps on their own.

Summary:

If a course is visible, but the course link is not active:

  1. Check the start date for the course; it should be displayed in Brightspace below the course name. Courses are not accessible until the start date.
